Summer in the Park Oil is the third painting in the Central Park Series. It shows a summer scene in the park with groups of people enjoying themselves on sun-dappled grass. Groups of sun-bathers, friends, families, and a children’s party are all part of this peaceful scene of urban leisure. The tall buildings are only faintly visible through a screen of trees. Clumps of yellow black-eyed-Susan’s bloom alongside the blue spires of Delphiniums. This is an original oil painting on canvas. It is framed with a classic profile 3/4” wide black wood frame.
