David Ippolito, aka The Guitar Man, has been performing on summer Saturdays in Central Park for 25 years. He is a singer/songwriter who has self-produced eight albums. I had the good fortune to discover him performing on a Saturday in June. He is a wonderful live performer and his music is lively and engaging. I loved the feeling of community gathering on the grass and listening to his music with all the other folks who had just discovered him, along with a collection of loyal fans.
