Butterflies and Poppies giclée print shows a field of California poppies with two Gulf Fritillary butterflies, one flying and one perched on a flower, set off against a blue sky. California poppies are the state flower of California and one of my favorite subjects to paint. They color the hills after a wet spring and keep blooming into the summer heat. A scattering of seeds can yield an abundance of blooms. Butterflies and Poppies is an Open Edition archival quality giclée print signed and dated on front of print and presented in a crystal clear sleeve with a Certificate of Authenticity and an acid-free backing board.
