Please join us at Susan Sternau Studios for the next Sausalito Art Walk on Wednesday, September 13th from 4 to 8 pm.

You are invited to discover one of Sausalito’s hidden gems and enjoy local art and refreshments in a garden setting.

Continue to browse art and sample treats at a dozen local businesses also hosting the Sausalito Chamber of Commerce’s Art Walk on Caledonia Street.

Directions:

Enter at the corner of Napa and Caledonia Streets. Enjoy drinks and refreshments and explore many nearby local businesses who are also participating in this new monthly event.

Susan Sternau

Susan is a landscape painter living and working in Cathedral City, California. She grew up in New York City, and graduated from Barnard College in 1980. She went on to earn an M.A. in Art History from Hunter College while becoming increasingly focused on painting. She also studied painting at the Art Students League and the School of Visual Arts in New York. Susan paints with oils, acrylics, and watercolors. She has exhibited in New York, Philadelphia, Florida, and the San Francisco Bay Area. She has done numerous commissions and her work is in many private collections. Susan Sternau is also the author of four popular books on art and architecture: Art Nouveau: Spirit of the Belle Epoque, Art Deco: Flights of Artistic Fancy, Henri Matisse, and Museums: Masterpieces of Architecture. Her most recent book is Easter Island Sketchbook: An Artist’s Journey to the Mysterious Land of Giant Stone Statues illustrated with over 65 watercolor and ink painting. Susan Sternau has taught art to private students and groups of all ages for over fifteen years. Her art is currently represented by Studio 333 Downtown and Books by the Bay in Sausalito.
